Master of Science at Physics

University of Waterloo, Waterloo, Canada

Jan. 2022- Dec. 2023

I have been an MSc student in the Physics and Astronomy department, specifically in the Biomedical Optics Research Group focused on Bio-Photonics. My research revolved around Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) and dynamic Optical Coherence Tomography (dOCT). I engaged with various OCT systems, including point-scanning and line-scanning systems, operating at speeds such as 250 KHz and 400 KHz. These systems were employed for imaging eyes, from which I extracted cross-sectional images using Python code that I personally developed. Moreover, I successfully obtained dynamic images by capturing repetitive images at the same point, enabling the visualization of motion within live organs.

Throughout my tenure as a master's student, I acquired proficiency in Python programming and deepened my understanding of OCT and dOCT principles.
